Customer stories

Real deployments, real alerts

Instead of a wall of logos — three stories straight from our dashboard: the problem, the implementation and what came out of it.

E-commerce

A store fixed before customers noticed the outage

An online store on WooCommerce, with GA4 and Google Ads campaigns.

Problem

The store needed Consent Mode v2-compliant consent to keep its GA4 and Google Ads data. And outside business hours, nobody was watching whether the site was even up.

Implementation

The WordPress plugin, a banner matched to the store's design and the automatic nightly scan — with no code changes.

Result

After a night-time server break-in, the store started returning a 500 error. The radar caught it during the 2:30 AM scan and sent an alert immediately — the store was fixed in the morning, before traffic returned. The owner knew about the outage before their customers did.

Agency

Every client site in one dashboard

An agency looking after its clients' websites — WordPress sites and stores.

Problem

Every client site needs a consent banner and Consent Mode v2, but a separate tool on each of them means separate logins, invoices and configurations.

Implementation

One CookieHug account, a separate domain for each site: its own banner, its own scans, its own consent log. A new client site means adding a domain and pasting the snippet.

Result

All sites in one dashboard, each monitored nightly. An alert about a problem on a client's site reaches the agency before the client calls.

Business website

Consent Mode v2 without a developer

A business website on WordPress, run by the owner themselves.

Problem

Google started requiring Consent Mode v2, and the site didn't even have a cookie banner. Budget for a developer — none.

Implementation

Installing the WordPress plugin and picking the banner design in the dashboard. The snippet, gtag signals and cookie categories configured themselves.

Result

From installation to a working Consent Mode v2 banner took a few minutes. The scanner found and categorized the cookies on its own, and the owner gets an alert whenever something new appears on the site.
